This notice explains what personal data I collect when you visit this site or book a call, and what I do with it.
Who I am
Tom Bell, a sole trader trading as TB Advisory, is the data controller. Contact: tom@tbadvisory.uk.
What I collect
- Booking details: your name, email address, the time you book, and your answers to the booking questions.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. I see your name, email, amount paid and the last four digits of your card, never the full card number.
- What you tell me: notes from our call and any documents you send, such as a deck or numbers.
- Emails and messages you send me.
This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies.
Why I use it
- To take your booking, run the call and process payments and refunds. The legal basis is performing our contract.
- To keep financial records. The legal basis is my legal obligations, including tax.
- To reply to messages. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering you.
I don't sell your data or use it for marketing lists.
Who else handles it
I use a small number of services to run this:
- Cal.com (bookings)
- Stripe (payments)
- Microsoft 365 and Teams (calendar, email and calls)
- Netlify (website hosting)
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long I keep it
I keep booking and payment records for six years, for tax purposes. Call notes and documents you send are deleted within 12 months of our last call, unless you ask me to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how I use it. Email tom@tbadvisory.uk and I'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
