Terms
Last updated 30 September 2026
These terms cover advice calls booked through tbadvisory.uk. They're written to be read, not to catch you out.
Who you're dealing with
Tom Bell, a sole trader trading as TB Advisory, based in England. Contact: tom@tbadvisory.uk.
What you're buying
- Power Hour: a one-hour video call. £295.
- Deep Dive: a three-hour video call, with a review of the material you send beforehand. £750.
The price shown when you book is the total you pay. Calls take place on Microsoft Teams, and the link is in your booking confirmation.
Payment
You pay in full when you book. Payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.
My promise
At the end of every call I'll ask whether it was worth it. If you say no, I'll refund the full amount to the card you paid with before the call ends. You don't need to give a reason. Card refunds usually show within 5 to 10 working days.
Rescheduling and cancelling
- You can move a call once, free, with at least 24 hours' notice, using the link in your confirmation email.
- Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice and I'll refund you in full.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or don't turn up, the fee isn't refundable, unless your consumer cancellation right below applies. I'll always try to be reasonable if something genuinely comes up.
- If I need to cancel or move a call, you can choose a new time or a full refund.
If you're booking as a consumer rather than for a business, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking. If you cancel before the call takes place, you get a full refund. By booking a call that falls within those 14 days, you're asking me to provide it within that period.
Conflicts of interest
I don't advise businesses that compete directly with ones I'm involved in. If that applies to you, I'll tell you and refund you before the call.
Confidentiality
I keep what you tell me confidential and won't share it with anyone else, unless the law requires me to.
The advice itself
Calls are practical, commercial advice from one founder to another. They aren't regulated legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and you should take professional advice where that matters. The decisions you make afterwards are yours.
My total liability to you for any call is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or affects your statutory rights.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
